Roasted Green Beans

This is such a great side dish because it is easy and quick! It can go in the oven while you are finishing up the main course and serve them right out of the oven. Flavorful and delicious! I use fresh beans here but you can also used canned beans in a pinch.

Ingredients:

Fresh green beans (ends trimmed)

Olive Oil

Salt and Pepper

Parmesan Cheese

Instructions:

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2) Lay green beans flat on foil lined pan.

3) Drizzle olive oil, season with salt, pepper and top with a sprinkle of cheese.

4) Put in oven for 10 minutes and serve right out of the oven.

Great idea. I’ve done this with asparagus, broccoli and carrots. Will have to try green beans too. I tend to use coconut oil for my high heat cooking.
