Creamy Mac and Cheese

This Creamy Mac and Cheese is legit! It’s exactly as described, totally creamy and decadent. This works great with elbow macaroni but if you have a box of another kind of pasta lying around, you can mix it up with that. If you are a mac and cheese fan, you need to get this baking in your oven right away! French Onion Crispy Baked Chicken

How your New Year’s diet going? Are you getting tired of the same old recipes or don’t know how to change it up? Chicken is such a great source of protein but if you are like me, you want to experiment with it. Adding different ingredients together makes for many new options. Something new I tried for this was Greek Yogurt! It’s good for you and adds even more protein to the dish to really get your grams in for the day! I use the French Onion mix because I’m a fan of the flavor but if you are looking for something else, you can totally substitute with Ranch or Italian dressing mix to give it something you like!  Continue reading “French Onion Crispy Baked Chicken”

Pineapple Salsa Chicken

Pineapple Salsa Chicken

I love coming up with different ways to make chicken. It can get boring if you have a chicken heavy diet without variety to there are tons of recipes here that can get you out of that rut. Like Pineapple Salsa Chicken! Pineapple in salsa is a great combination, the sweetness of the fruit helps counteract the spiciness of the salsa so it makes for a really delicious mix of flavors! This meal gets slow cooked in the crockpot so you can prep it and then get other things done while this simmers away for you. If you can’t handle a lot of spice you can take out the jalapeño or the chili powder to tone down the heat for you.  Continue reading “Pineapple Salsa Chicken”

Skillet Kielbasa Mac and Cheese Penne

skillet kielbasa mac and cheese penne

I love kielbasa! I prefer it over sausage and try to incorporate into my recipes when I can. This Skillet Kielbasa Mac and Cheese Penne is a spin off of my Spicy Kielbasa Pasta, it’s a great option if you don’t want the extra spice. This is perfectly creamy and the Panko breadcrumbs give just the right amount of crunch! If you prefer sausage or that’s the only thing you have, you can absolutely substitute that for the kielbasa. The great thing about this is that it’s one pan and low prep so you can get it on the table quickly and clean up will be a breeze!  Continue reading “Skillet Kielbasa Mac and Cheese Penne”
