For those who love wine, it’s something you plan and budget around. I know those who enjoy wine tastings that really enjoy trying new brands and adding to their collection. But lets be honest, it can be expensive. Two bottles of wine could run you up to $50. Thanks to apps and monthly clubs, you don’t have to pay out the nose for your alcohol anymore. Some people just can’t put that kind of money down so here are some ways to save money on alcohol.
The app bevRAGE is an app that you can get from the Apple and Android store that gives you money back on your alcohol purchases! It’s very simple, all you need to do is keep your receipts. Once the rebate clears you can choose to get the money sent to your PayPal account or you can build up the funds and get a check sent to you. This goes beyond wine and covers liquor and beer too so it’s a great way to save a couple bucks here and there. This also covers bars and restaurants so you can get money back while you are out. But make sure to read the rebate information before redeeming as not all rebates cover everything. I’ve used this app a few times and it’s legit and if you choose to get the money sent to PayPal, the payment happens very quickly.
VINEBOX
If you are someone who loves trying new wines but hates having bottles sit around of those wines that you are not a fan of then VINEBOX is perfect for you! Depending on how long of a membership you want to get you can save money each month. You can cancel or skip a month whenever you want and there is no commitment. This is also a great option if you enjoy an occasional glass of wine but hate having to open a bottle and then try and reseal it for one glass.
Buy In Bulk
It’s a lot out of pocket but buying in bulk actually saves you money on alcohol. If you buy boxed wine or buy by the case, you get more for your dollar. Boxed wine averages to about $6-$7 a bottle and lasts up to six weeks so there’s no rush to finish it like a bottle that could go bad. If you buy a bottle you love by the case you can save 10-15% on your purchase, especially if you go right to the winery producing it.
So there you are! Some really great ways to save some money on your wine and help put a few dollars back into your pocket! Who doesn’t love that?
