Easy Pork Marinade

I love recipes that are easy to throw together and this recipe for an Easy Pork Marinade is just that. This recipe has ingredients that I always have on hand so it’s a perfect last minute dinner solution. If you want to plan ahead and have your pork marinate even longer, you can also do that but this adds flavor no matter how long you let it sit. It also gives a nice char to the chops so you can really enjoy this. I made this with my Roasted Red Potatoes and a side of green beans. Continue reading “Easy Pork Marinade”

Bacon Wrapped Pierogies

I love pierogies. There is something about that mix of cheese and potatoes that just makes me happy. Now add some sweetened bacon into the mix and you are in taste bud heaven! I used some cheese, potato and sour cream pierogies for this recipe and I think it was perfect with the brown sugar sprinkled bacon. You can use any kind of pierogi that you wish to make this recipe uniquely yours.  Continue reading “Bacon Wrapped Pierogies”

Caramelized Pork

I scored at the grocery store and ended up with a ton of pork butt for a great price. Now I had to figure out what to do with it. I could do the classic Pulled Pork but I wanted to switch it up. I had seen caramelized pork with a more Asian twist but as I am not super knowledgeable in Asian themed cooking, I mixed it up and tried it out my way. I didn’t have fish sauce or coconut water but I used some chili powder and garlic to give the meat some flavor to blend with the sweet caramel. These came out tender with a nice sticky coating.  Continue reading “Caramelized Pork”

Maple Baked Bacon

Bacon is that food that if you love it, it’s very hard to screw up. I had a bunch of bacon that I wanted to do something fun with and once I saw that bottle of maple syrup, I knew I had found my answer. The syrup gives a nice coating to the bacon and it has an amazing sweet and salty mix that you will love at first bite. Not to mention it saves you time on cleanup and it saves really well so you can make a big batch and keep it on hand for when you need it. If you are looking for a good syrup, this is a great quality one.  Continue reading “Maple Baked Bacon”

Ragu Bolognese Lasagna

I had never tried lasagna like this before and I have no regrets about Ragu Bolognese Lasagna! The bolognese was cooked low and slow to make it super tender and the béchamel sauce instead of ricotta gave it a super rich flavor and texture. It was rich and incredible! Definitely one of those recipes that worth the time that you put into it. If you want your bolognese extra rich then also add in a cup of dry red wine! This Ragu Bolognese Lasagna will be a favorite in your house and much requested!  Continue reading “Ragu Bolognese Lasagna”
