Tips to Snack Smarter

I recently decided to get a little healthier. I’m now 10 pounds lighter and feel better. I have starting tracking my calories and trying to move more every day. But one of the biggest problems I’ve come across is my snacking. I have a snacking problem.

It took awhile to try and break that habit but I have found something that keeps me from derailing all my process at the end of the day with Balance bars! These are the perfect way for me to calm my late night sweet tooth guilt free. Considering each bar is only 190 calories, it’s a way to keep your hunger at bay and not mess up your days calorie count.

I tried three flavors: Dulce de Leche and Caramel, Chocolate Peppermint Patty and Dark Chocolate Pecan Truffle. Having a few different options helped me keep things interesting flavor wise. My biggest weakness is something sweet at night so these bars were perfect to satisfy that craving while not making me want to clean out my kids snacks. It also helped that they were delicious so it felt like I was cheating when I wasn’t.

I also made sure I packed a few in my purse so I didn’t tempted by the vending machine at work. My favorite part is that they are packaged with two mini bars so you can eat one half and save the other half for later which gives a whole new definition to a quick snack.

If you want to add Balance to your diet, you should check out their social media to get their latest updates. They are on Facebook and Twitter. You can find them at CVS, Amazon and Walmart nationwide!

I am also hosting a giveaway where you can win your own box of Balance bars, enter today and you have to options above plus Chocolate Caramel Peanut Nougat! The winner will get one box to enjoy for themselves!
