How your New Year’s diet going? Are you getting tired of the same old recipes or don’t know how to change it up? Chicken is such a great source of protein but if you are like me, you want to experiment with it. Adding different ingredients together makes for many new options. Something new I tried for this was Greek Yogurt! It’s good for you and adds even more protein to the dish to really get your grams in for the day! I use the French Onion mix because I’m a fan of the flavor but if you are looking for something else, you can totally substitute with Ranch or Italian dressing mix to give it something you like! Hooray! It’s my birthday! While I’m still accepting the fact that I’m now in my ’30s, I can definitely appreciate how much my cooking skills have improved since I first lived on my own at 22. It’s sad, I was all about quick and easy that lifestyle ate away at my energy and my wallet. My poor husband can attest to many failed kitchen experiments but time and the willingness to learn won and now we all eat much better. Birthdays always make me reflective of where I was and who I’m becoming and it’s always nice to look back at the positive ways you’ve improved over the years.
