Ice cream is pretty sacred in my house. I discovered quick that not only does my child love it, he will literally try to climb into my bowl to get some. I didn’t like the idea of loading him up with sugar every night so I decided to make him his own special, healthy “ice cream” to eat.
Ingredients:
1 banana (these are for a child size amount, you can double or triple if you want to make more)
1 tablespoon of peanut butter
1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
Instructions:
1) Cut banana into slices and put into freezer for 1 hour. Take out ten minutes before you start to soften slightly.
2) Add bananas to food processor and blend till smooth.
3) Add peanut butter and cocoa powder to mix.
4) Blend until mixed and serve!
My guy loved it! I’m talking that -full on food all over your face and cry when it’s empty and the bowl gets taken away -loved it! It’s really delicious and a great substitute for adults who are trying to cut back on sweets.
