Oven Baked Meatballs

Sometimes you just need a recipe to keep in your back pocket. These Oven Baked Meatballs are the perfect thing for an easy dinner. They come out a bubbly, cheesy, saucy mix and taste amazing! You can get a pot of pasta boiled and ready for when these are done cooking! 

Ingredients:

3/4 lbs ground beef

3/4 lbs ground pork

4 cloves garlic, chopped

1 cup plain bread crumbs

1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

2 eggs

Salt and Pepper

Marinara sauce, 2 jars

1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded

Instructions: 

1) Mix the beef and pork in a medium bowl. Add the eggs, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic, salt and pepper until well mixed.

2) Preheat oven to 375 degrees and Pour some sauce onto the bottom of a baking dish. Start forming your meatballs and lay on top of the sauce. Cover with more sauce and top with Mozzarella.

3) Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 20 minutes until meatballs are cooked and the cheese is browned up. If you really want to brown up the cheese you can put it under the broiler for a minute or two before serving.
