As any avid reader here knows, I love Kielbasa and use it a lot here. My Spicy Kielbasa Pasta and Kielbasa Potato Bake are two popular recipes for good reason, you can do so much with some Kielbasa links and this Crockpot Kielbasa and BBQ Beans are no different. You make your own smoky sauce that gives everything tons of flavor and this is a recipe everyone will love! This made my whole house smell awesome and I would wait to get a big heaping bowl and chow down!
Ingredients:
2 cans black beans, drained
2 cans kidney beans, drained
1/2 white onion, diced
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon liquid smoke
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup molasses
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 lb bacon, cooked and chopped
2 lbs Kielbasa, cut into half moons
Instructions:
1) In a skillet, cook bacon till crispy. Let cool and chop into small pieces.
2) Add all ingredients except Kielbasa into crockpot. Stir well. Add Kielbasa on top and close.
3) Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
