Glazed Kielbasa

Glazed Kielbasa

So I think we can all agree that kielbasa is pretty amazing. But anyway to improve it can’t hurt right? This recipe is very easy as it goes right into the crockpot and the end result is delicious! This is literally and slice and whisk recipe. You slice the kielbasa and whisk the sauce. Easy right? You can set this up and even just bring your crockpot with your for less issues.

This is a great potluck recipe, a wedding or baby shower and any other get together where it’s finger food/appetizer only. The glaze coats the kielbasa perfectly and gives it great flavor!  Continue reading “Glazed Kielbasa”

Irish Beef Stew

Irish Beef Stew

I love soups with some heartiness to it, that’s why I’m a big fan of stews. This stew was made in the crockpot and has very little prep so you can set it and it will be done just in time. It smells amazing and really hits the spot! This is great for a cold day, a busy day or St. Patrick’s Day!  Continue reading “Irish Beef Stew”

Crockpot BabyBack Ribs

Crockpot BabyBack Ribs

Who doesn’t love ribs? There is a place by me in Connecticut that’s amazing! I love their BBQ but sometimes you want to make something at home or don’t feel like eating out. It took me awhile to make ribs at home, for a long time I just couldn’t get them right. They would be greasy or stringy and just…..well they just weren’t good. So I thought about it and realized I was making things way too complicated. I was adding too many ingredients and just stressing too much about it. This method is so simple but it makes ribs that are so delicious! I used Yuengling BBQ sauce which is amazing on it’s own and just let them do their thing in the crockpot. The results were perfection!  Continue reading “Crockpot BabyBack Ribs”

Crockpot Macaroni and Cheese

Crockpot Macaroni and Cheese

Who doesn’t love macaroni and cheese? I can’t fathom it so I made up a version in the crockpot that’s super easy to make and absolutely delicious! All you have to do is cook the pasta. Now I spent a long time being very picky about my M&C, I love the Stouffer’s version! There was a time where I could have lived on it. 5 minutes in a microwave and I was in creamy, cheese goodness! But I love trying new things so I wanted to try my hand at homemade stuff. My Baked Macaroni and Cheese always comes out delicious and this does too! If you are looking to put a little kick in this, you can replace the Havarti with some Pepper Jack cheese slices.  Continue reading “Crockpot Macaroni and Cheese”

Crockpot Mashed Potatoes

Crockpot Mashed Potatoes-2

My love of mashed potatoes is pretty big. But, as you can see by my Perfect Mashed Potatoes recipe, the prep work for homemade mashed potatoes is a little time intensive. I loved making these because they are insanely easy. This is perfect if you don’t want to peel potatoes as you just add the potatoes as is. I actually recommend doing that because the skins gave the potatoes this awesome texture. This is a perfect side dish for a long roast as it slow cooks in the crockpot and just needs to be mashed up and it’s ready to go!  Continue reading “Crockpot Mashed Potatoes”
