Baked Tilapia

Baked Tilapia

Tilapia is a great fish to have if you are trying seafood for the first time. It doesn’t have an extreme fishy taste and there are so many options for it! This version is extremely easy but makes the fish taste decadent. It was flaky and tender, just perfect. This is also a great recipe to try if you are new to cooking seafood as the oven does everything, you don’t have to worry about it.

Ingredients:

2-3 tilapia filets, fresh or frozen

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 tablespoon salt

1 tablespoon garlic powder

Instructions:

1) Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2) Coat a small amount of olive oil on bottom of cooking pan.

3) Place filets in pan.

4) Brush remaining olive oil over filets then sprinkle salt and garlic powder over each filet.

5) Cook filets for 20 minutes. Serve immediately.

This is wonderful! I have made it several times with great success. I also add asparagus to the pan for a nice side. Thanks for the recipe!
