White Garlic and Tomato Pizza

If it hasn’t already been said…..I love pizza! It’s very hard to disappoint me with a great slice. I’ve had deep dish, homemade and world famous. It’s our go-to dinner when we have those nights where we just don’t want to cook. This recipe is great if you want to get away from the traditional pizza, sauce and cheese. This has a yummy garlic sauce and the cheese and tomato gives it a fresh taste that’s perfect for a warm night eating outside!

For this recipe, I used store bought dough. My local grocery store sells great dough that we use for pizza regularly. If your store doesn’t sell it or you prefer to make your own, here’s a great recipe here. For this pizza I had my pizza stone on the bottom rack of my oven. Make sure you flour your peel well so the dough doesn’t stick and mess up your pizza.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

1) Preheat oven to 500 degrees. If you are using a pizza stone, make sure it’s in the middle of the oven. Flour your work surface and begin working the dough and thinning it out.

2) Once dough is ready for toppings, put olive oil and garlic in a small bowl and microwave for one minute. Brush over the dough. Top with cheese and tomato.

3) Slide dough onto pizza stone or place onto oil coated baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or longer if you want a crispier pizza.
