The title says it all, while I love Sephora and spoiling myself once in awhile there are times where money can be better spent or I just don’t have the time to drive the extra way. CVS is nearby, has a ton of options and is cheap! These are my favorite things from the drugstore.
I love moroccan oil and used the more expensive named product for a long time, but saw this on the shelf one day and was hurting in the wallet area so decided to try it. Honestly, I really don’t see a difference. My hair was soft and shiny and it smelled fantastic. But the best perk is going from a $40 bottle to a $6 bottle. This is situation where you are really only paying for name, not quality.
2) Cocoa Butter
Cocoa Butter is an amazing product. In my opinion, it moisturizes better and smells like suntan lotion. How is that a bad thing? If you haven’t given cocoa butter a try yet, I suggest you take the plunge and see how soft your skin feels. The average price is around $7 depending on how large the bottle you buy.
I prefer this over powder bronzer. It just sits more naturally on my face. I use this instead of face highlighter. I put a small dab on my cheekbones, forehead and the bridge of my nose. In the summer especially it really just gives your face an amazing glow. Average price is around $7.
This a a great summertime buy! Not only is it a great soother when you’ve spent a little too much time in the sun but it also works as a nice lotion when it’s too hot to moisturize like you normally would. This sits very light on the skin so it doesn’t feel like your pores are suffocating. Average price is around $20 for the gel.
There is a reason why BB cream is all over the place, it is a great product! It moisturizes, it’s lighter on the skin than foundation, it has SPF. I know there are more expensive versions of BB that people favor but for the price of this product, it does it’s job. Average price is around $10.
