Maple Baked Bacon

Bacon is that food that if you love it, it’s very hard to screw up. I had a bunch of bacon that I wanted to do something fun with and once I saw that bottle of maple syrup, I knew I had found my answer. The syrup gives a nice coating to the bacon and it has an amazing sweet and salty mix that you will love at first bite. Not to mention it saves you time on cleanup and it saves really well so you can make a big batch and keep it on hand for when you need it. If you are looking for a good syrup, this is a great quality one.

Ingredients:

1 lb thick, center cut bacon

1/2 cup maple syrup

2) Arrange bacon slices on the rack in one layer.

3) Bake for 12-15 minutes  and remove from oven. Brush maple syrup on the slices and place back in oven for 3 minutes. Remove from one oven and flip the slices on the rack.
