Since Cinco de Mayo is this weekend, I decided I would try something new with my leftover avocados. I have never made my own guac before so I decided to give it a shot.
2 ripe avocados
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon cumin
Optional: 1/2 cup diced tomatoes, chopped jalapenos.
1) Slice avocados in half and remove the pits.
2) Scoop the avocado meat into a bowl and mash.
3) Add remaining ingredients and stir well to combine.
This was super easy to make and was really delicious for a last minute decision. With some planning it would be even better. I made mine bland but you can go for as much spice as you’d like!
