Apples and bananas go together so well. These muffins make a great use of both! They are moist and crisp at the same time thanks to the apple. They are also super easy to make! A great way to use those ripe bananas and makes your house smell amazing! These are also kid friendly. My four year old loved making these as much as they loved eating them. My “egg cracker” had a great time helping to put these together and loved doing the final touch of placing the apples on top!
1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cups of sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 mashed bananas
3/4 cup melted butter
1 sweet apple, thinly sliced
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2) In a large bowl mix the egg, bananas and butter until well blended. Set aside.
3) In another bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together. Slowly add to the wet ingredients and mix well. Pour mix into lined cupcake pan. Top with sliced apple and bake for 12 minutes.
