How your New Year’s diet going? Are you getting tired of the same old recipes or don’t know how to change it up? Chicken is such a great source of protein but if you are like me, you want to experiment with it. Adding different ingredients together makes for many new options. Something new I tried for this was Greek Yogurt! It’s good for you and adds even more protein to the dish to really get your grams in for the day! I use the French Onion mix because I’m a fan of the flavor but if you are looking for something else, you can totally substitute with Ranch or Italian dressing mix to give it something you like!
Ingredients:
2 lbs raw chicken tenders
1.5 cups plain Greek yogurt
1 package French Onion dip mix
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
Ingredients:
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl, add the yogurt. In another bowl, mix together the dip mix and the breadcrumbs.
2) Pat down the chicken to give it a better surface to stick to. Take the chicken and coat it in the yogurt and then dredge it through the breadcrumb mix.
3) Arrange the chicken on a foil lined baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Let cool slightly before serving.
