If you love a hearty meat sauce, then you will love this Cheddar Beef Pasta Bake. It’s got a delicious flavor and will fill you up on a cold winter day. I use my own homemade sauce (see here) but you can use a jar of your favorite brand.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 28 oz tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1/2 tablespoon basil
- 1/2 tablespoon oregano
- Salt and pepper
- 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Set large pot of salted water to boil. Cook pasta to al dente according to package instructions.
- Prep Sauce
In a large skillet, brown beef and drain any excess fat. Add tomato sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes on medium-low heat. Add pasta to sauce and mix well.
- Place in Dish
Spread half the pasta mix in the bottom of a 13×9 baking dish. Sprinkle 3/4 cup cheddar on top. Repeat with remaining pasta and cheddar.
Bake for 20 minutes until cheese is melted and heated through.
