Balsamic Maple Pork Chops

Who doesn’t love a good pork sauce? These Balsamic Maple Pork Chops are just what you need! The beauty of this sauce is that it perfectly complements the pork and you can cook down any leftover and use it as a delicious dipping sauce to make the pork even more incredible. The balsamic vinegar gives this sauce a great flavor that isn’t too overly sweet. You are sure to love it. 

Ingredients: 

2-3 bone in pork chops

1/3 cup balsamic vinegar

1/3 cup chicken stock

1 tablespoon maple syrup

1 teaspoon dijon mustard

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons rosemary

2 tablespoons flour

2 tablespoons butter

Instructions: 

1) In a saucepan, mix the vinegar, stock, maple syrup, mustard, garlic and rosemary. Bring to a simmer.

2) In a small bowl, whisk the flour with a few tablespoons of water till it’s a thickened slurry. Add to saucepan. Let mixture thicken up slightly and then add cold butter and whisk till sauce is nice and glossy.

3) Season pork chops with salt and pepper and heat grill or grill pan to high heat.

4) Grill the first side for 6-7 minutes, brush lightly with sauce, then flip and repeat. Remove from grill and let rest for 10 minutes then serve. Use any leftover sauce for a dipping sauce.
