I love pierogies. There is something about that mix of cheese and potatoes that just makes me happy. Now add some sweetened bacon into the mix and you are in taste bud heaven! I used some cheese, potato and sour cream pierogies for this recipe and I think it was perfect with the brown sugar sprinkled bacon. You can use any kind of pierogi that you wish to make this recipe uniquely yours.
7 bacon slices, cut in half
14 thawed pierogies, any kind
1/8 cup brown sugar
1) Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil and coat with spray.
2) Wrap bacon around center of each pierogi and place on sheet. Sprinkle both sides with brown sugar.
3) Bake for 18-20 minutes until bacon crisps up.
